I really appreciated Dr Frank's style. No rush to the knife. I explained what another surgeon recommended. Dr Frank's position was that he thought that was a bit excessive. He also wanted more info before coming up with a treatment plan. He reviewed my MRI with me explaining what his first thoughts were.

I made an appointment to see Dr Frank because my previous spine surgeon moved to the East Coast. I was needing a surgeon that could compare to my old surgeon that had been taking care of me and my family for the last 5 years. Not an easy set of shoes to fill.Dr Frank is an exceptionally knowledgeable and personable individual. He did not rush for time. He was completely thorough in his explanations regarding what he was going to do and what he was not going to be able to do. Dr Frank was relaxed which put my wife and myself at ease. He explained everything in the smallest detail so we were able to know what would be done, and what was not able to be done. Dr Frank just knew what his capabilities are and he felt at ease, thus putting us at ease. He covered everything that we were interested in and answered every question. We left there amazed at how seamlessly Dr Frank stepped in and became, MY NEW SPINE SURGEON! Thank you ABRAZO for bringing such a qualified, humble knowledgeable doctor to replace an extremely modest, knowledge and skilled professional. The transition will be an easy one. Dr. Frank thank you for moving up to the valley to help do many people looking for a honest skilled professional. I am already letting people know that there is an exceptional surgeon in the west valley that is ready to help those in need.

In my 49 years I have NEVER had a doctor, surgeon or specialist as good as Dr. Thomas S. Frank. The detail in his explanation went above expectations. Not only did he provide incredible medical advice, but also took his valuable time to personally find me a reputable provider near my home for my next steps before seeing him again for follow up. He was highly recommended to me and now I see why.. I drove 1.5 hours to see him specifically and I would hands down drive even longer to see him.

Dr Frank was excellent in dealing with my reasons for the appointment. He showed excellent concern and discovered another condition I was unaware of. Upon finding out my drive there is 2 1/2 hrs he said he would try to get all clinical work scheduled to minimize my driving. That really impressed me that he thought about me like that.

Dr. Frank is very knowledgeable, well practiced and researched on my complex spine injury and has the best bedside manner of any neurosurgeon I have ever seen (I work in a major trauma hospital and have had much experience working alongside neurologists and neurosurgeons). He takes his time and makes sure all questions are answered to everyone's satisfaction and is even willing to discuss the nuances of research without taking offense. I would recommend him again and again.
