Dr. Jahan is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Adult Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. She has a special interest in cardiovascular imaging, including Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology, preventative care and cardiovascular disease in women. Dr. Jahan is a member of the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology, American Society of Preventative Care and Women In Cardiology. Dr. Jahan believes in building partnerships with her patients in order to provide the necessary care to achieve cardiovascular health, leading to healthier lives. I am very confident that Dr. Jahan with her compassion and medical skills may have been instrumental in saving my life as a result of a "Stent" placement in my heart on September 24, 2021. She went further than any previous cardiologist whom I have been associated with since my retirement from the Department of Defense of 44 years on 31 March 2013. I am very blessed to be in a position to make input to this survey with a "special thanks" to Dr. Jahan's exemplary medical performance who was also an advocate for me when my secondary insurance denied the initial request to schedule me for the surgery. She engaged in a "Peer to Peer" consultation with another cardiologist who represented my secondary insurance company that her order for me to receive the stent procedure was valid and vitally important for their reconsideration and approval. Because of her intervention on my behalf and my critical need for the my stent and ultimate surgery, survival - I am deeply forever thankful and grateful to Dr. Jahan.
