Dr. William Kuo is a board certified Urologist, who provides a broad spectrum of urology treatments to men and women. He also has a key interest in laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
A Texas native, he received his medical degree from the University of Texas- Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He then went on to complete his surgery and urology training at University of Texas in Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
He is affiliated with the American Medical Association, American Urological Association, Pima County Medical Association and Arizona Medical Association.
Dr. Kuo believes in establishing long lasting relationships based on trust, mutual respect and understanding of each of his patient's care goal. He has been in the Tucson community since 2001. As a cancer patient, he has empathy with all his patients.
He spends his time outside the office with his wife and children. Together they enjoy traveling, fishing, boating and exploring the Sea of Cortez.

The Dr. Was our contact. He was quick, smart, asked good questions. Then he told us what should be done. He gave us referrals, info on supplements that could help. I have a CD of husbands bladder reconstruction that the Dr. Wants to see. I will bring it on Monday. Once he goes through the records we will follow up on what needs to be done now. He sent notes to his PCP and his nephrologist. We have already picked up his RX. Terrific doctors visit and every thing needed was discussed and addressed.

I am so glad that St.Marys Hospital contact Dr.Kuo at his office on October 11/23 He looked at my ct can and blood work and urine. I had developed a kidney infection not a UTI. HE CAME IN AFTER 5 PM THAT DAY ASK ME HOW LONG HAS IT HURT ME. I Said 12 MONTHS BUT REALLY 14 MONTHS STARTED AUGUST 2022 . HE SAID MY RIGHT KIDNEY HASN'T WORKED FOR A VERY LONG TIME NOW.ON JANUARY 9/2024 HE WILL REMOVED MY RIGHT KIDNEY. THIS IS MY 69 YEAR BIRTHDAY PRESENT MY BIRTHDAY IS November 3/223. Plus I believe that the good lord sent me Dr.Kuo. Can't wait for the surgery that is coming up. He knows what he is doing.he doesn't judge you he is the third urologist that I seen for my right kidney pain also I have stage 3 kidney disease. My left function for 47% supposed to be 60% so I hope I can get it up to 60% I need to ask Dr.Kuo if that will happen. Loved all the one that works in the office pick Dr.Kuo as your new doctor and urologist. A very happy patient MARTHA POUND
