Marvin was recommended to me when I called someone in at Carondelet to check out another NP. They recommended him and said that two of her family members saw him. I recommended him to my partner who has social anxiety and he felt quite at ease seeing him yesterday. My experience was much better than expected. I was put so much at ease that my blood pressure didn't go up from being stressed out by the visit (typically does).

My standards of medical care are incredibly high, thanks to a family of healthcare providers & professionals, and Mr Depas hit all the great notes: compassion, kindness and listening to the patient's perceived issues. In a matter of minutes , he addressed my complaint , formulated a plan, and looked at my previous record. He went as far as orderrng routine labs to check my general health; to include labs, colonoscopy, and updated my record with new hx. Completelly satiefied with hes approach and confident that I was being taken care of. The provided actaully sat at eye level witm me and was actually listening, showing concern and empathy. Im comparing it to others where the interaction is with a laptop, typing away, and me feeling like Im just another number and bunch a boxes to check. My appt took relatively the same time others have taken with much less patient care. I was impressed and said so to your front office staff. Do not let this awesome provider go. He Is a valuable member or your organization!

Communications are very good here. Even portal messages get responses from assistants/staff sooner than I'd ever gotten anywhere else, as far as I can remember. Especially compared to my last primary care provider. And it has been easy getting an appointment with Dr Depas, even when It was needed "last-minute", so far.

I didn't answer one question (concerning whether he explained my condition well enough) simply because it's still an unknown condition. Though he refers me to the appropriate physicians and makes appropriate orders for the symptoms that we're trying to track. He does refer to the most likely condition involved, which I didn't need an explanation for. I keep up on my own tracking too. I had also been into physical sciences many years ago in school, so tend to know more than the average patient. He does speak on-level with me, without talking down to me - as doctors often can do.

Have had so many rude providers before who see me as just another person in their daily quota, but he was absolutely wonderful!
